Mr. & Mrs Yusak Rigo and Ibu Roslina

Mr. Yusak Rigo and Mrs. Rosalina are pastors at the Filadelfia Congregation of the Pentecostal Church of Indonesia (GPdI) in Toro Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency. Previously, their conventional pig farm often drew complaints from the congregation and the surrounding community due to its offensive odor. Through a livelihood program introduced by our organization, they began implementing an environmentally friendly pig farming approach, known as Household Natural Pig Farming. This method helps manage the barn more naturally, thus minimizing odors and preserving the surrounding environment.

This journey has not been easy and has required a long process of mentoring. However, after six years of perseverance, their family farm has now grown into a sustainable business that can support both their family and their ministry. The story of Mr. Yusak and Mrs. Rosalina demonstrates that with the right methods, family farming can be a sustainable business while improving well-being. 🌱🐖
